After a long period of not being able to go to the Netherlands to fly kites due to corona measures, on May 30, 2021 the time was finally there. Together with Vliegeren is voor iedereen and a few other kite flyers, we started flying our kites on the beach of Brouwersdam. We were able to fill the sky with many colors and that naturally attracted some audience.
While flying kites, we followed the Corona measures that were in place at the time.

Of course we cannot go unprepared, and certainly not after 9 months of barely flying any kites, so I loaded everything into the car the day before I left for the Netherlands.
In addition to loading, it was also necessary to check the tire pressure. The pressure was a bit on the low side.
The tires of my wagon were also a bit on the empty side.

Sunday, May 30, 2021 - Brouwersdam
Around 7:30 am I left for Brouwersdam and after a 2:30 hour drive I had a view of the beach.
After locating the right part of beach (it is not allowed to flyvkites at every location) it took a short while until everyone was there.
Then it was unloading and flying kites
The first hour was actually disappointing, there was no wind. But in the afternoon the wind started to pick up and we were able to make it an interesting day.

My turbine was of course the center of attention for the kids.
We started cleaning up around 4 pm, after that we had a nice evening dinner on the terrace. After that it was time to return home.
Sunday, May 30, 2021- Strand Veere
Before I finally returned home, I made a quick stop in Veere to test a few things.
I have been testing the Stabilizer function of my GoPro and learned a lot about it. will certainly be continued.
To conclude, I would like to thank everyone present and I hope that we will be able to fly kites together again soon.
