During the evening market on the village square of Callantsoog, we did a tryout at the request of the owner of Beach Pavilion Woest.

Wednesday, August 21
We started the day by checking into the accommodation arranged for us.
This time, it was a nice glamping tent.
After checking in, we were driven to the village square in our private transport.
Once at the town square, we were able to launch the kites into the air.
The location wasn’t ideal due to the surrounding buildings, but once the lifters were high up, the figures could be flown beneath them.
Sparky went up smoothly, but the Octopus… that took a bit more effort. With its many meters of tentacles, we were struggling a bit.
There was just a little too much wind for the Octopus, so we swapped it out for Gary #Meow.
As it got darker, the lights could come on, and the real party began.

Fun fact: It was the first time Sparky flew illuminated in the dark.
Conclusion
It was a very successful tryout, and I definitely want more of it.
